“H” is for holiday!

what better way to start one of our most favorite times of the year than going tree-hunting?

today we headed to our local tree farm…a place that has become near and dear to my heart. we’ve come here for the last 5 years…before ara was born. today was ayna’s first time…oh, the memories…and new ones to make!

” “H” is for holiday”  is just the beginning of a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! Let the festivities begin!

“J” is for jump!

just got ara a new pair of rain-boots and learned a valuable lesson. little kids don’t forget. oh, they’ll need constant reminders about not using ALL the chopsticks at the restaurant to “build stuff” or need a few threats about feeding baby sister Gobstoppers (but saving the green ones for themselves). but they will not need any help recalling that mommy promised they could go puddle-splashing once those bright green boots were on.

made me chuckle seeing ara’s hesitation.  i’m sure she was incredulous, “i can’t believe mommy is letting me do this…must be some sort of trick!”

eventually she went for it. again and again…and again.

” “J” is for jump” was a leap of joy!
