whew!

whew 08

another extraordinary week in the anderson household. oh, snaps!

so here are some of my highlights…

i enjoyed another baby shoot and prom night…

almost ready for father’s day…can’t wait to see bobby’s face when he discovers what we’ve been up to…

my body is continually sore from new workouts…somethings IS working!

currently painting ayna’s room and redecorating the girls’ playhouse…

prepping for hawaii (because i refuse to be the lightest brown girl there, woohoo!)

resisting shopping temptations (yes, it’s actually an effort, and i’m succeeding)

having fun at church (sunday school is a delightful thing for ara, ayna loves all the snacks everyone gives her, and bobby and i are ever more encouraged to be better Christians/parents/spouses/friends/whatever God wants us to be)

just enjoying my little ladies…this summer is packed FULL of activities…(see photos above)

AND! this is all on top of all the regular duties and expectations that come with the territory. 🙂

*okay, taking a breather here*

even though i’m a tad bit exhausted…

God is good.

…and i’m ready for more!!!

another tornado week…

whew. if i didn’t have photos, i don’t rightly know if i would remember all the details! but it has been largely productive and successful. week 1 down of my challenge, maternity/family shoot, killing my personal checklists, heehaw!

now, hopefully things will slow down a tad. ha! yeah, right! i AM, however, making extra special time to play with my sweeties as ayna lovingly demonstrates…

here’s to monday and beyond!

press coverage photography update…

press coverage 04

happy friday, everyone!

here’s a little sticky note…

although my official site isn’t schedule to premiere until june 1st (i may delay due to the influx of sessions, as well as our family’s BUSY schedule), i will have a temporary site to view those headliners in the next couple days..

so excited to showcase your stories!

enjoying the little things…

the little things

sometimes it’s the those minor details that makes life so enjoyable. it’s a wonder how God knows just what will tickle your soul, push out a grin, or produce a chuckle out of nowhere. He knows us so well. take a look at this photo. can you see the dandelion seeds ara blew onto ayna’s hair? so darling is this moment, but i have to giggle at her…so oblivious of the “mess”. she’s just loving being free (mommy isn’t restraining her) and curious about this yellow flower…

it’s a wonderful place to be in my life…cherishing the itty-bitty sweet pieces…they really do make up the bigger sweet pictures. ah.

brings me to one of my resolutions…be bold to enjoy this life! so far…so good…

concerning mypresscoverage.com…

i’ve been hinting at some exciting new things…well, ONE of them is happening NOW. so if you’ve tried to take a gander at the “business” aspect of my life, you might find yourself critiquing something other than photos. i don’t know exactly what is happening in the “geek” world, but i finally got to check this off my new year’s resolution list. WOOHOO!  a new look, fun effects, and all that loud jazz…

i’d say give it until may 1st or so and check it out! i’m really hoping to “HOOK” you line and sinker!!!!

our quarterly family update

many of you all know the anderson clan made a trip to santa barbara. but some did NOT know we stayed at a fabulous house on a cliff, enjoyed a day at disneyland (i could stay there a week!), and spent our last night at a celebrity-favorite hotel in downtown LA. in short, we all had a blast!!! i plan on posting snippets of the adventures as this month flies, but believe it or not, i did NOT go nuts with the camera. hey! i wanted to experience the vacation, too. 🙂

but enough of that. here’s what’s going on in our lives…

bobby: he is such a great father and husband. works hard, cooks deliciously, plays like a kid, loves us ever so sweetly…who needs me? ha! he is definitely a wonderful man. i can’t complain. in fact, i better give him credit for planning the getaway. and allowing me to celebrate my birthday ALL month! he is already setting up a trip to hawaii. i thank God we are able to enjoy such things, especially with me not working. (although, i’d say staying at home is a lot of work…)

me: well, i’m 31! it’s hard to believe because i can remember high school and college days so vividly. and i laugh because bobby says i haven’t changed a bit. ha! bless his soul! my plans are to carry on…but even better! i’ve been praying that whatever role i play or task i’m expected to accomplish, i do it with even more fervency and flair. why not? (my section i’ll keep abbreviated…hence, the blog)

ara: what a little squirt! her spunk marks her immediately. and her sense of humor and wit cracks me and bobby up. she’s just growing up too fast with such fierce energy, and i’m trying desperately to keep up! tomorrow she starts gymnastics. we’ll see if her instructors can do any better!

ayna:  there is no fear that this booger will fall behind her sister’s shadow. no way. she is becoming her own. wow. sometimes that’s all i can say. she is a favorite everywhere we go. the chunk, the smile, the laugh. and she knows it. she’s a walking and “talking” love-bug. and about to celebrate her 1st birthday. *sniff*   more of that to come…

i managed to keep this one short and sweet. i realize i post pretty regularly. i’m not in the business of dulling anyone’s senses. 🙂 i hope everyone is doing grand. until next time…
